An active break

From congress hall to open air in minutes

Parc de la Citadelle

The city’s largest green lung, framed by Vauban fortifications and the Bois de Boulogne. The perfect morning run, a 3 km loop that clears the head before a full day of sessions.

Parc Jean-Baptiste Lebas

Three hectares of lawns and tree-lined paths right in the city centre, ideal for a 20-minute lunch break away from screens and conference rooms.

Canal de la Deûle

Gentle riverside paths running along the waterway, great for cycling or a peaceful walk when you need to step back from the programme.

Tastes  & souvenirs

A few Lille essentials to carry home

A waffle from Maison Méert

Lille’s most iconic sweet: a delicate, softly perfumed waffle from a shop that has been tempting passersby since 1761.

Frites + a local beer

The unmissable duo. Grab a paper cone of fries and pair it with a Ch’ti, Ambre des Flandres or any craft beer from a local taproom. That’s Lille.

Stop by the Palais Rihour

Our Tourist Office and gift shop, housed in a medieval palace on Place Rihour. Pick up a city map, book a guided tour, or find the perfect souvenir.
