In 2017, the Institut Pasteur de Lille wanted to give a new life to its museum. Showcase of the history of the Pasteur Institute of Lille and turned to current scientific research, this museum was born from a desire to celebrate the scientific works of our researchers.
It allows access for all to the collections of the Pasteur Institute of Lille and thus to the history of those who built it.
The Institut Pasteur Museum in Lille pays homage to its founding fathers, talented and humanist researchers whose work has saved millions of lives around the world: Louis Pasteur, Albert Calmette and Camille Guerin. The aesthetics of this contemporary exhibition come alive along the way: the museum becomes a place of discovery and astonishment, learning and wonder. Mixing art and science, history and modernity, new technologies and poetry, the museum of the Pasteur Institute of Lille allows an undeniable scientific mediation, especially with young people, teenagers or children. Raising interest in science, research and health is a major concern for the Pasteur Institute in Lille.

The museum is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 5pm.
