Installed in the former Urbanist convent, this museum presents a large number of documents, objects and equipment related to the Sainte Barbe Brotherhood and Lille's city defences. 3000 objects are on display: rifles from 1777 to 1945, knives and two exceptional cannons, the famous Gribeauval cannons that Napoleon Bonaparte offered to the canonneers.
The museum is open on Saturdays from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
