The "Class of 1930", installed in the former Ruault-Récamier school, has found a beautiful setting in this 19th century building, right next to the Town Hall. The museum gathers hundreds of authentic objects around the wooden desks, the stove, the platform and the blackboard.
The schoolmaster will take you on a 2-hour tour of the life of a classroom in the past. It's a real time machine: come and sit on the school benches and rediscover the atmosphere of wax, chalk and ink.
You will write a "dictation of the Certif" with a penholder and purple ink, just for fun. A temporary exhibition will be presented to you.
To close the activity, you will enjoy an old-fashioned snack.
