- It's one of the few buildings dating back to the Middle Ages. When you arrive at the Place Rihour, imagine an immense residential palace spreading out over the entire space around you. Originally built to house the Dukes of Burgundy, the Palais Rihour became Lille's town hall several centuries later. Sadly, the building fell victim to devastating fires.
