With Quiveutpister Lille, (re)discover the city by solving a detective story.
In the world of urban tourism and new "in real life" gaming practices, Quiveutpister offers its treasure hunts for adult participants and corporate events alike. Quiveutpister Lille's treasure hunts turn sightseeing into a gaming experience.
The principle is simple. Participants meet up at the starting point, where a host introduces himself as an undercover investigator and explains the facts. Divided into several teams and equipped with road books, binoculars, magnifying glasses and compasses, participants discover the districts they pass through and their secrets. The pleasure of discovery mingles with the spirit of teamwork, adventure and sometimes competition.
Quiveutpister Lille meets the expectations of a playful public, eager for adventure as much as for discovery and encounters. From the age of 12 to 99, there are afficionados of board games, detective literature and role-playing games, as well as many tourists who appreciate this more contemporary language. These new urban practices are also an excellent way to spend time with family and friends. It's also a great way to meet new people. More and more colleagues and companies are taking part in team-building activities.
Three different treasure hunt scenarios are on offer in Lille.
In the Vol au Vieux-Lille treasure hunt, participants investigate a mysterious theft in the center of Lille. In the narrow streets of Vieux-Lille and around Notre-Dame de la Treille Cathedral, participants will have to solve the case and catch the culprit. Numerous clues on the Grand Place and in the city's secret courtyards will complete the investigation.
In the game Chasse au Trésor Mortelle (Deadly Treasure Hunt), participants will have to solve a crime around a mysterious treasure hunt. Clues will have to be found around the Jardin Vauban, the Catho district, the Quai du Wault and a small part of Vieux-Lille.
In the L'Arnacœur de Saint-Sauveur treasure hunt, participants will follow the story of a young man who said he had been poisoned, before fainting when the ambulance arrived. Thanks to notes taken by a witness, participants will have to investigate in the old school district, around the Saint-Sauveur district, the Hôtel de Ville and the Place de la République.
Public treasure hunts organized every Saturday at 2pm from March to November.
Private treasure hunts organized every day of the year, on request.
